Are there any available? I want one that has the traditional scrabble rules. I don't like that you can just guess any word and it holds your stupid hand telling you that isn't a word. It is up to the other player to judge your words thus testing both of your vocabulary. Challenging words is one of the cornerstones of the game. I want the real deal. It seems I am in the minority and just want the game that I loved in mobile form. I hate words with friends and the official scrabble app. They are for people who like to think they are smart. It is just the dumbing down of traditionally harder games that is killing me. Everyone is getting dumber and thinking they are smarter or more skilled in some way. :(

I have to agree with this. What makes it worse is that if you actually do know what you're talking about, you get dismissed as a know-nothing-know-it-all because of all the idiots and citing your credentials does no good because then people think you're arrogant and they STILL dismiss you as a moron who doesn't know anything. It's extremely annoying.

Amen to that. I don't know of any mobile games but the place most of the elite players gather (including several world champions) is the Internet Scrabble Club- www.isc.ro . It probably can't be converted to an app as it's made from java, but you never know, one day...

Holy crap you hit the nail on the head. I was having a discussion that ended up like this today about something I am very well versed in and the other person isn't. They were constantly dismissing what I had to say and then I ended up being right. They didn't say sorry for doubting me or anything. Knowledge is dismissed so much now that it is maddening.
