View Full Version : Classic arcade games now playable in tweets [Eurogamer.net]

Last November non-profit archival organisation the Internet Archive made hundreds of classic video games free (http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2014-11-03-the-internet-arcade-lets-you-play-900-classic-games-for-free-in-your-browser) to play via browser emulation. Now, a whopping 2604 of these titles (https://archive.org/details/softwarelibrary_msdos_games&tab=collection) can be embedded in Tweets should you want your followers to play them on Twitter.
First spotted by Alex Hern (https://twitter.com/alexhern/status/593695142546116608) and Frank Cifaldi (https://twitter.com/frankcifaldi/status/593529947538337797), who embedded Sim City and Maniac Mansion respectively, the games running through the EM-DOSBOX in-browser emulator translate to Twitter.
Such games in this list include Prince of Persia, Pac-Man, Metal Gear, Doom 2, Jazz Jackrabbit, Marble Madness, Ghosts 'N Goblins and thousands more.
