theres an auction coming up soon for a shop that closed near by me. it doesent have a whole lot of games but they did have an invaders stand up cab.

its in good shape, little fading on the front glass surround (with the logo and the graphics) but overall good working shape, original coin mech, none of the control panel seems to show major wear. cant tell if theres water damage along the bottom as its always had stuff around it but if there is I wouldn't imagine there is much. shop owners and their sloppy mopping and all

looks exactly like the one on this wikia page.

wonder what I should pay for it

In my area, that sells on craigslist for about $300 or so, whereas a dealer tries to get $1000.

so imagine an auction price should be a whole sale price then?

Depends on the audience attending, but I'd think you'd see it under $400 unless it's just pristine or there's an idiot who doesn't realize how many of that cabinet are out there bidding.

Unless you get a nut or two bid warring with you or themselves over it, I doubt it'll get to or even near $1000. The problem is I think it could fall due to whatever the interest is from a couple hundred up to maybe $500 or so. If you get a dealer like celery said who wants to just flip the thing, they'll usually want to get 1/2 into what they'd sell it for, and if they feel they could get $800 or a $1000 they won't go over $400 to $500 for it unless they have a buyer lined up already and they can be happy getting a few hundred bucks off it.

It'll be a gamble, just do what you feel is best for you and don't let some clown bid you beyond your comfort. For all you know people who appear will think it's an old outdated piece of crap and not want to bid more than $50-200 for it and you'll get it dirt cheap.

I own one of these and have recently been looking into there value. $300-$600 is about right.

Ok cool. I'm hoping that is exactly what happens because it's the only cab there all the rest is guns and tools. Some thing like 40 some guns and who knows how many tools
