A little while ago I picked up a copy where disc 1 & 2 play disc 2
I was wondering if anyone has another like it?
The disc 1 is printed disc 1 the id number on the bottom of the disc is the same on both discs

You're saying that both discs are actually disc 2, though one of them is labeled disc 1? That's messed up. Is it for Dreamcast, PS2, Gamecube?

The Dreamcast version had this as a widespread defect on the first print run. Capcom had issues with multi-disc releases around that time, like the Strider 2 issue. The initial shipments were recalled, so this one might have slipped through the cracks.

I own Strider 2, but I've never played it yet to know if it's like that.

Yep. I've never seen a US copy with correct labeling.

If they aren't mislabeled, that's quite rare! Did you buy it new? I know Capcom had an offer at the time to send replacements out, so this might be a bit like the Turok Rage Wars grey carts for being uncommon.

I picked it up used at gamestop when they were clearancing out ps1 games out games for 2.99. I remember reading a post here years ago about the discs being swapped, I re-checked mine at the time and was surprised to find they were not swapped.

That sounds more like somebody printed a label to trade in a game at the time when it was new. I can't imagine that as a factory defect, but stranger things are out there.

That's hilarious. Reminds me of the time I rented super C and duck hunt booted up.

These rings don't show up on a burned dvd

I have 2 carts that boot up with the wrong game. A Shooting Gallery on Master System that boots up as Outrun, and a World Heroes on SNES that is actually Out of this World. I bought both used close to 20 years ago. I have no idea as to the story why, as none of those games have ever really been particularly sought after or expensive, but who knows.
I wasn't thinking it was a burned DVD, though. I was thinking just a disc out of a cheap box set that would look authenticat a glance, but that's totally just a guess.

The front of the dvd looks at close examination to be the same resolution and label type on a correct copy. There is a copy of buzz jr robojam pal That actually plays apocalypto with French subtitles which is known about

Yeah, I have no idea. If the same place pressed both discs, it might be a thing. Definitely interesting. I tend to question newer games more closely, as consumer level technology allows for more shenanigans now than ever, and there are always people looking for the next scam. Still, it's definitely interesting.

That's what i believe same reasoning behind games from different publishers developers ending up on the wrong discs
They were all pressed at the same place

Makes me a bit nervous of all the new DVDs I have, haven't got around to watching them yet but wondering if any have pressing or manufacturing errors of some kind.

Do any versions of it besides the Dreamcast even have multiple discs? I know the PS2 version is single disc (unless you count that it came with a Devil May Cry demo disc, but who would count that). Is the Gamecube version multiple disc?

The GameCube release is two discs.
