Help with one particular ROM

One of my favorite games when I was in high school was Jackal (sp?). I can't get this ROM to work with MAME. I get an error stating missing files and a list. I tried the Japan and World ROM without luck. Has anyone else had this problem. Is there a better ROM for this game available.

According to Mame.dk, Jackal (World) is the main rom. So that's the version of the game you need to play it with Mame.

Also, the rom was added in version .33 of MAME and was last modified for MAME .36b13
So that latest version should work with the later versions of MAME.

Maybe you should try downloading it from another source? It is possible that their version of the rom is .33 instead of the later one.

I have this ROM also and it failed to work under the newest MAME, but DID work under MAME32_TG3 (tournement verson .35)
