Reading this thread (http://forum.digitpress.com/forum/showthread.php?173607-Super-Mario-All-Stars-Wii-Box-Size) made me wonder: how does one go about getting a nice transparent plastic box to protect a cardboard box?

I actually have a board game box (slightly smaller than a DVD and around twice as deep) that's falling apart and I've been thinking that a suitable plastic thing would be just the ticket, but I'm at a loss as to where to find one. But if there's an industry for producing these things for old video games, maybe I can find something suitable.

My friend uses these guys (http://www.retroprotection.com/) to order large quantities of bags and protectors. I don't know much about the subject, personally.

I get the bags, and protector boxes from them often. The plastic protectors fit boxed games and single carts great. I just got some for my nes and 2600 carts.

I recall from 2002 to as late as a few years back, I'd find either Nintendo-branded or generic video store NES cases on occasion!

Of course, I found them so rarely that I typically paid 'em forward to give my NES library uniformity.

The very same can be said for my VHS library, too!

Best of luck regarding your search.
