I just started playing this game. I am only at hte first save but so far I am very impressed. Very soulful.

Anyone else dig this game.

I am a HUGE frickin' fan of this game as well. I would say more about why, but I just pissed myself.

I just bought myself a PS2 and seem to have had a bit of trouble finding this game but I just found a guy selling it on eBay and I've bought from him before so I have no trouble purchasing this still-sealed copy. Now I'm starting to worry, though...is there something about this game that makes people piss themselves? Maybe I should run out and buy me a package of Depends before the game arrives... :D

I like how the screen is clear of stats/HUD's.

I like the fact that it is youthful an innocent with out being some cheesy childish sickly-sweet anime style like DarkCloud 2.

I like the fact that it has a very Japanese feel yet is still very uniqe and different from the mainstream Japanese games.

It is one of those games that sucks you right into a different world.

Ico is very cool. I know that it's short, but I haven't finished it. In a way, I like being not done with it. But one day soon I will finish it and then most likely be sad.

I agree with everyone else. Just wish they'd make a second game soon... if at all!

Oh no... dum du dum dum... piss, dum du dum dum... piss. :D

The graphics are wonderful and yes, they are breathtaking.

The gameplay + story is atrociously linear and more like pushing buttons to watch a movie. Meh.

Count me in on the love fest. I was pretty bitter when it got removed from our top 100 list - I mean come *on*, this isn't top 100 material?!?

It's more like 'art' than anything before it. The music. The style. The story. The graphics. All blend for a more complete package than *I've* ever seen. I'm not saying it's the best of all time, but I definitely love it (I'd put it in my personal top 10).

My first disappointment: not including a 'translation' for Yorda when you went through it a second time.

My second disappointment: reading the translation on a website. We're not missing much apparantly. :)

I've heard the occasional rumour of an Ico 2 being planned. In fact I seem to think I've seen footage or a screenshot. Anyway, keep your fingers crossed (both for a release and better marketing - we need to see more games like this made and released).

I'm currently playing through ICO, and enjoying it. However, there's one part that bugs me so far: the combat. All too often, fighting consists of swinging your plank wildly, getting whacked by the monsters, watching them abscond with Yorda, and then having to drag her out of the shadowy vortex and start the whole damn thing over again.

ICO's sense of realism is magnificent, but I often find myself wishing that the little guy would just whip out a pair of magical .45 autos and blast through the monsters like he was in Devil May Cry.
