Topic really is about it. I can not find a vendor using google or poking around various forums that isn't using that crappy ZERO release which has problems. My copy I had a few years back was the Zero release and the hotels would not resupply PP(magic) just the restore stones (4 in the game about) or walking all the way back to my house (start of the game) which made it basically a nearly unplayable grinding pain in the butt.

I know I could buy the kazoo writer and the proper board, I priced it out at $40 between both for a NES only writer ($50 for all 3) and I guess I'm lazy and cheap because I don't want to do all the work let alone buy something for a one shot deal. If someone here (or knows someone) has the writer (board too?) I'd like to buy your time and board to make one. Your call as far as a shell for the game goes, I could order one easily enough, same on the label.

Thanks.

I know I could play the ROM but I'd like to do it semi-legit on my TV in an actual system using my dogbone controller. :P

If you don't find someone in the states to do this, I could order the parts from INL and make a copy for you.

Does the cartridge shell have to be new?

Not necessarily. I think I found someone who can do it, but I'll have to see. I was helping someone out over at pinsider.com (pinball site, huge) who was asking about stuff in an off topic NES thread. I helped him order the parts he needed and showed him it was a better route versus hacking up a game and doing all the chips and solder route. He was willing if I paid for the parts to do the EB game for me at my expense, but as is anything deals aren't done until they're done but I hope it works out. If not I'll definitely take you up on it. Here's what I had written to him for the parts I believe were correct for it, am I right?

Here's the parts link: http://www.infiniteneslives.com/nessupplies.php#MMC3

The first field to add is: MMC3 TKROM (WRAM w/Batt back) $16.50 USD

second field ignored

The third field to add is: PRG-ROM: 256KB, CHR-ROM: 256KB $5.00 USD

That is what my digging around about the specs on the game seemed to be with the legit prototype rom that emuparadise has on their server.
