A Dutch member found this 4 minutes long VHS promotion video from acclaim, LJN, flying edge and arena. They show there games ( Simpsons , mortal kombat, double dragon. spiderman wwf and more) It sound like they are looking for investors. Is there a English version of this video on the net?

I'm surprised Acclaim released such a thing with Dutch narration. Yeah, it seems it's a promotion thing for shopkeepers, video rental places and distributors to stock the games. Funny thing that it's narrated by the same guy that dubbed the Amazing Discoveries informercials for the Netherlands (https://youtu.be/P6D9nAY65lc). 'SEE-GA' :shameful:

Looks pretty good. I see that they were showcasing some of their work although I cannot seem to find the English version.

I don't know about this particular video, but there were a lot of promotional VHS tapes sent out to gamers themselves during the N64/PSX era and a few years on either side of it. I got a lot of them, mainly from Nintendo and Squaresoft. I rarely even bothered watching them, I think some of mine are even still shrinkwrapped in whatever box or pile I currently have them buried in.

I'm pretty sure I got the Square tapes because of sending in the card for the free FF Mystic Quest guide when I bought the game. They sent me the guide but somehow messed up my first name on the mailing label, and for years after that, I'd get newsletters and tapes like these from Square, all with the same mistake on my name.
