Do PAL TG16 Hucards play on NTSC setups/TVs? I just saw a game I've been meaning to pick up and then noticed the site said it was PAL. :/

Well they made PAL consoles. So I guess PAL games are a possibility too. I'm not sure thou, hence my question. I've never noticed any TG16 games on ebay listed as PAL before. I'd hate to buy, and then find out they don't work on my NTSC TV thou. :(

Well, I can't answer specifically, I've never seen a PAL HuCard before, but I do know that the PAL TG-16 is compatible with NTSC's if you use the TurboBooster (with A/V output). But PAL HU's.... hmmm.

No PAL hu cards, yes there is a PAL machine, but it plays NTSC US games.

So what exactly is the point of having a PAL TG16 then? It's more or less just the hookups which are non-stanard to those found over here? Or something that never got off the ground? Maybe there was going to be PAL games at some point, just never happened?
Anyway, I went ahead and bought Blazing Lazers (http://www.lik-sang.com/info.php?category=181&products_id=2912&) from lik-sang today. That's where I saw it mention PAL versions, which I couldn't figure out. They've had the PAL TG16s there for a while, just happened to notice they said some of the games where in PAL format as well.
Were TG16 games ever released in the UK?

Ok well as far as i know the only difference would be the signal that the machines put out, also they are 240 V machines memory ( i have a new sealed one ive not opened). They also have AV connectors without the need for a turbo booster ( i think thats right anyways)
As for games in teh UK not 100% sure, i dont think these machine made it to the uk, im not sure this, i know some other pirate systems made it out to aussie, they look like pc engine shuttles, but i think those ones used Japanese games not us..

Greg is right...there are NO PAL huCards. The PAL TG16 system were released in Spain and France....I think. They're fairly rare too....not a huge release, and they just released some domestic huCards packed in with them....one was Blazing Lasers I think. The console looks slightly different too...has a different box and different logos.
