Okay, so I'm playing Fable 2 for the first time, going through it completely blind, and this optional sidequest pops up where I'm supposed to help a jilted bride's ghost find peace by breaking the heart of the guy who left her at the altar. Fair enough. So I find the guy and seduce him like I'm supposed to, but then he starts pouring his heart out about how awful and guilty he feels and how he never thought he would ever deserve to find love again and I just can't bring myself to go through with the original plan.
So now we're married. Now what? The only property I have currently is the gypsy wagon at Bower Lake. Is it okay to set that as the marital home until I can upgrade to something better? And how do I move my family from one house to another? I only have 1400 gold and the cheapest house in Bowerstone is 2400, so I was going to sell some stuff to be able to afford it and then I figure I'll need to stick around for awhile and do odd jobs around town to get enough gold to invest in a business. But what do I do after that? How much of an allowance am I supposed to set up? How often will I need to come home from adventuring to see my husband? Would coming home after each quest be sufficient? And what happens if I get pregnant?
I looked at the Fable wiki and it doesn't really go into a whole lot of detail about this. If anyone here is familiar with this series, it would really help if you could tell me how not to end up divorced.
EDIT: As a side note, I thought it was really cool how when I brought Alex to the gypsy caravan, everyone in camp cheered and congratulated us. I have to say, I'm seriously impressed the devs thought of that. To me, little details like that are the hallmark of really good game design.
