I take it you mean console net games..or PC net games?
I don't follow the console online market very well, but as far as PC online games go, without a doubt I would say Everquest 2.
I cannot begin to stress just how breathtaking this game looks, both playwise, and graphics-wise(if you have a great graphics card :D )
For more info on this game go to www.everquest.com and go to the EQ2 part of the site. :)

If you want to get into FPS's for PC then go buy yourself a copy of Half-Life and download the Mods for Counter-Strike and Day of Defeat.
Or get Battlefield 1942

Ah, OH, why the change to the avatar? I liked your Star Trek one -- it's rare that anyone else besides me publicly admits that. :) And where the heck did you get that new one at? X_x

Yes, DOD is very good. In case you didn't know it came out about a year and a half ago. You can just pick up a copy of half-life, new or used and download the full versions of Counter-Strike and DoD for free. Its not illegal copies either, because they are mods of the game.....just a heads up for anyone that cares
