RIP? Site is still online, still lightly maintained as Martin is busy these days (same here and he's got +2 kids over myself), and therefore is more tired.
I loved that site since I found it in the mid90s since I bumped into him on irc back then. For quite a few years in the earlier era (90s earlier 00s) I did help out a bit there for a time, but primarily I ran the sub-site for it the NES World Jukebox which had a lot of digital XM/MOD music and also MIDIs for gamers to enjoy which I refreshed with new content once every week pretty much. Eventually though the site kind of steered off that, but I kept the jukebox up independently for awhile but in time let that go due to lack of interest on my part. I still actually have all the old digital music archived here, but not the site, though I'm sure the web archive.org site would have that.

Yes, I have fond memories at NESWorld. That site was THE de-facto go-to website for NES related discussion, for a long time. Like 2 years I spent there, and probably around 2,000 or so posts. Met some great people through NESWorld. I will always remember it for this. Great times. :hail:

Although the forums have been pretty dead for a while I still frequently vist the n64 prototype section, it seems to be the only running database on publicly found n64 prototypes. Just a pitty he hasn't added to it for the last year.
