Resident Evil - what order, what systems?

OK, Playing Resident Evil on the gamecube right now,

Questions being:
What R.E. games are out, and what's coming out for the GC soon?

If you had to play the whole series, which order would you play them in, and on what systems?

:P Resident evil zero is next for the gamecube. A prequel to resident evil.

I am probably wrong but I can remember these:

Playstation:
Resident Evil
Resident Evil 2
Resident Evil 3: Nemesis
Resident Evil: Surivior(Game sucked ass unfortunetly :-/)

Dreamcast:
Resident Evil: Code Veronica

Playstation 2:
Resident Evil: Code Veronica X

Gameboy Color:
Resident Evil Gaiden

Sega Saturn:
Resident Evil

Game.com:
Resident Evil 2

PC:
Resident Evil
Resident Evil 2
Resident Evil 3: Nemesis
Most of those came in different Uncut and Platinum editions.

For Gamecube Originals:
Resident Evil Zero

They said they were going to re-release them all for GC but I think they are leaving out some, espcially Survivor ;-)

As for order it I think it goes:
Resident Evil Zero
Resident Evil
Resident Evil 2
Resident Evil 3: Nemesis
Resident Evil: Code Veronica
Resident Evil: Code Veronica X

The other games like Survivor and Gaiden don't fit into the whole story. If you want to see a storyline, grab hold of the "Wesker's Report" DVD, it's pretty bitchin'.

There isn't much difference between RE:CV and RE:CV-X, at least to make them two seperate games.

The total plot of the RE games has alot of holes in it like swiss cheese. Verrive is right (I think) with the plot but if you go to gamefaqs.com and type in resident evil..go to the FAQS for some the games. You can sometimes find story FAQS explaining the total RE plotline.

Also, part of Nemesis takes place before part 2 and some of it takes place after, and RE:CV takes place before the last part of Nemesis.

Don't forgot they put Resident Evil 2 & 3 on Dreamcast too.

R.E. Zero should be out on Halloween.
