Hi everyone.

This is my first time posting here so just be gentle with me xD.

Here's my problem, I tore down my N64 to clean it from all the dust and try to fix the cartridge slot which had difficulties reading games lately.

So I cleaned everything up, removed the cartridge slot from the motherboard and cleaned it too, the problem is that when I tried to put it back in place, I accidentally pushed a little bit too hard then realized that I was doing it the wrong way (yeah I'm stupid bearing in mind that I was aware that it can only be pluged back in one way...), which lead to two pins getting pushed a little bit more than the others as you can see in the attached picture, that resulted in two of the cartridge slot pins being pushed back, which prevents them from making contact with the cartridge when it's pluged in.

I tried to pull them back the way they were with an eyebrow plucking tweezers (yeah I know u.u) but they're extremely hard to pull, so now I'm stuck with a "broken" cartridge slot...

Is there an "efficient" way to fix them please?

Thanks.

Well you had the right idea, but I'd try something more beefy like needle nose pliers. There's nothing else I think you really could try without likely really breaking it.

Yeah that's what I thought too... Well I guess I know what I have to do now, unless somebody else comes with a miraculous solution xD...

Thanks anyway :D

That or crush a viagra tablet into the opposite end of it and see if it pops out after a bit.
