Star Soldier for GameCube...

I know this probably belongs in the import section, but I'm considering ordering this game. Has anyone played it? Is it worth importing? Does anyone know if Hudson or some other company is planning to release it stateside? Is it compatible with the Freeloader?

I'd appreciate any help from the shmup-savvy folks on this site...

It's fun. A nice simple shooter (only 3 buttons, and one is to control your speed) with plenty of hidden depth and challenge. Plus 2 and 5 minute modes for quick blasting and trying to rack as many points as possible. Even better, it only cost me £20 ($30) as it's a budget release...
