Best way to play import PSX and PS2 game... [Archive]

I'm a RPG collector
I'm now trying to play with my purchase but i can't play with my PAL games.. i'm a little bit short in money....
what can i buy to play these game ?

If you want to play PAL games on NTSC, the only decent option is to get a PAL PSX or PS2. Even with the appropriate import boot methods, US systems still can't handle PAL all that well. You usually have to patch the game to make it look playable, and even then, the top and bottom of the screen are often clipped.

I'm not sure exactly how well actual PAL PS2 games will run on an NTSC console, since I've only used PSX games on mine.
