They're totally different technologies. The Laseractive goggles are compatible with the SMS style, that shutter-effect. The Vectrex is a three-color wheel.
Prognosis negative!

ANY model. It's completely compatible with all 3D games. I know because John and I spent some time with both the Laseractive and SMS 3D glasses extensively - a little too extensively, and something that if there were pictures taken I'm sure we'd be blackmailed with them. The good news is that the 3D effect is MUCH better on the SMS. The LaserActive 3D is kinda lame. I think it's just easier to apply that technology to video game graphics than it is for live images.
