What's your favorite life simulation game/series?
My favorite is the Harvest Moon series. Simple, easy to follow, and involves a bit of strategy to woo the chicks. In fact, I'm going to reserve the GameCube and Advance games, which I think will be better than Animal Crossing. I mean, hey, you can finally get married, have a baby, and link the two games together...
My runner-up would have to be Animal Crossing, although I haven't played it since November. I got busy and just never went back. I'm sure my town is overrun with weeds, and I'm afraid of catching heck from my in-game neighbors. I'm sure most people are going to say AC because of the NES games...
Shenmue was too tedious, and the sequel on Xbox is better, but only because you can fast-forward ahead to certain timed events. Also, the control scheme rivals Resident Evil in its mind-numbing confusion. Some of the best graphics of all time, though.
Shamefully, I admit that I've never played the Sims, but I'll probably get it for one of my systems when the price goes down...
