In this game why is it that when you knock out Glass Joe or Don Flamenco with a left to the face, they fall down three times before they hit the canvass? I cannot find an answer to this question anywhere and have always wondered why.

I don't understand the comment. :) They don't fall down 3 times before hitting the mat. Do you mean that vibration when they slam into it after stumbling? That's just that, the floor bouncing, which isn't a stretch if you watch when someone hits the mat hard going down in boxing and especially 'pro' wrestling. The rings aren't hard solid floors, they have give.

It's not falling three times, but rather them wobbling back and forth before falling. Others, like Piston Honda, stumble back, some fly back... it's meant to show their being punch drunk and collapsing.

I've only noticed the triple wobble with the left handed face jab.
