Can anyone recommend a good third party controller. I've been looking at a Mad Catz and the analog looks in a better position than the original. Playing fighters is such a chore.

For me, it was the Total Control adapter, as it both let me use my Saturn controller and my Virtual On twin stick on Dreamcast. I also did a 2 player X-Arcade stick for arcade ports (mainly Neo Geo stuff) that feel better to me with a joystick.

I like my Dreamcast arcade stick, personally. It's pretty close, imo, to the Namco Fighting Stick for PS1, which I've adored for years.
