I'm looking at this Sony PVM 1954Q right now and I think I'm going to buy it. It doesn't come with a power cable though. This question is probably a stupid one, but can I just use any AC power cord to power it?
Also, for those who know a lot about PVMs, what is your opinion on the 1954Q in particular? I've read good things.

1945Q is a recent model of the CRTs. if I remember correctly it should be a HR Trinitron
ANY PC power cord works, that's what I would up using for my MD PVM. any voltage step up, down, left or what ever is done internally so you just need to feed it wall juice.
if its the one in the pic, from what I can tell its in good shape, if its not a super ton of money I say go for it.

Hey I see a choice of Composite, SVideo and Component inputs!
Bring the PC power cord, a BNC Composite adapter and a portable PlugNPlay game unit to verify power and geometry. Even if you do not have the BNC adapter you can touch the PlugNPlay video cord to the BNC video input.
I recently acquired a Sony PVM myself. Along with my Commodore 1701, I plan on Dreamcast House Dead dual screen light gunning for the annual Halloween outside setup and dual PS1 link games such as Assault Rigs. :)

Assault Rigs is such an under appreciated game. I seriously think it was one of the PS1's best games in it's early lifespan...
