Ok I have a PSX title I would like to have available for download on a website.
Problem is I have no idea how to do this.
Can anyone walk me through this. Step by step.
I have the authors permission and was given the game on the condition that I host it.
Thanks
Adam

No I don't have a site.
Mike Gedeon of www.videogameconnection.com is hosting it.
Ok can you provide a little more detail on the first step the FTP part.
What is it and what steps do I need to turn a cd rom into FTP?
Please bare with me I'm a beginner.

Whoa, you're getting a little lost here ;)
First you need to get the ISO (data image of game), which can be done using a program like Nero available on trial from www.nero.com. This will just rip the image (ISO) from the CD to your hard disk.
It's simple to use and once installed the Wizard should be able to guide you through the process of making the ISO.
Then, once you've got that you can upload it to the web via FTP using a program like cuteFTP. For that you'll need the details of the webspace that you're uploading it to. If you're uploading to someone else's space, it would be better if you sent them the file so they could do it.
Hope that helps to start with.
