NeoRage Problem!? I need help!!

Ok i have neo rage, and up until about monday just gone it has died, when ever i hit the neo rage icon to start up the emulator it just comes up in a windows box and says this programme has performed an illegal operation and will be shut down..

Now as a windows user this message is nothing new, also i had just loaded norton 2003, and have scanned and cleaned up my system, then the first time i try NeoRage i get all this crap!?!

Can anyone help or maybe shine some light my way to a possible solution.

Also i have Neo rage and my neo games burned over to a cd, i have deleted all the neo stuff of my pc and tried neo again after dragging the neo stuff off my CD but i keep getting the same message!?!?!? Help :(

i'm missing metal slug, KOF 98, 99 and 2001 already dohhhhh!!!

This could be caused by a ton of reasons. Something you recently installed? Something running in the background? Any drivers updated lately? Or perhaps directX needs to be re-installed? Retrace your steps as to what you did with your system before it stopped working. What version of NeorageX are you using?

The version i'm using is Version 0.6b, which i think is one of the latest (if not the latest version/update)

I did install norton 2003 but i can't see it having any kind of conflict with Neorage!?

I'm not really into the inner workings of windows / drivers etc, although i might get the new version of DirectX.

Apart from norton i'v not added any other programmes i have run a few Nortons tools like Sobige.fix and a few others to make sure there where no virus's etc..

Also come to think of it when i installed norton 2003 i did get a message after i had installed it that it has a conflict with msn messenger 5.0, this box pops up every 2 mins or so you go and uncheck an option in norton and it stops scanning msn messenger..

Unless this is part of the problem!?!? i'll look into that..
