In the past few months, several TurboGrafx-16/PC Engine games were rated by the ESRB, for the Wii U Virtual Console services. But despite those ratings, there was no announcement of any sort, not even a small tease or anything. But today, a couple of them popped up on Nintendo of America’s official website: they will be released tomorrow.

There’s three TurboGrafx-16/PC Engine titles releasing tomorrow in North America:[/quote\

About darn time. I'm still sore about Sega missing out on the Wii U's VC. This'll at least heal some of the pain.

I've been putting off getting some of the Wii TG-16 VC titles, for no particular reason. This might be a good time for me to grab a few, especially since I have some credit yet to spend in the eShop 8-)

Hopefully, if any of the earlier Wii VC releases come to Wii U VC, they won't have that blurry filter on them.

I've never understood why the Wii U didn't have the entire Wii VC library from the beginning and just expand on it from there.

Granted, I also don't own a Wii U, so I don't know if there are some licensing or technical issues that prevent that from being so easy. And I also don't get why there are games on the Wii U VC that they don't also make available on 3DS and/or Wii, like Earthbound, for example. Are they really so cocky that they think keep some VC titles exclusive to one platform or another will be enough to convince people to buy a new piece of hardware, just to play ROMs of old games?
