Ladies and Gentlemen, welcome to Let's Taco 'Bout Games. In this series, my friends and I go to local restaurants (almost always ones that serve our favourite hard-shelled Mexican delicacy) and discuss video game topics ranging from our adventures searching for retro videos games to retrospectives on entire games series. I am planning on updating this thread whenever a new LTG video is released.

I'll start off this thread with an episode that was released a few weeks ago:

Should You Buy a GameCube in 2017?

The Nintendo Gamecube is turning 16 this year. First released in 2001, it wasn't one of Nintendo's best selling consoles, but it has definitely earned a large following since. However, with the Nintendo Switch coming out soon and being rumoured to have Gamecube games on it's Virtual Console, it has to be asked: Is there still any reason to go out and buy a Gamecube (or even a Gamecube-compatible Wii) in 2017?

Is it even worth it to own a Nintendo Gamecube in 2017?

Thus, on today's episode, we're going to give you three reasons why to still buy a Gamecube, then counter each reason to show why you may want to pass on the little lunchbox. Is now a good time to get one, or would you be better off getting a Switch? Does it have a good enough library to still warrant a purchase? Find out on today's episode!

The BEST Pokémon Bootleg? Pokémon Green for NES! | SWPG

Bootleg games are unlicensed video games that are sold as if they were official parts of the series they aim to knockoff. They range from simple rom hacks to full fledged productions, but they tend to have a very low quality. In fact, many are hardly playable, if at all. Most seem to originate from China, Russia, or Mexico, and usually end up having little if anything to do with their source material.

Pokémon Green for the Nintendo Entertainment System (well, Famicom), is a bootleg meant to capitalize on the Game Boy game of the same name. Unlike most bootlegs, though, this one seems to be quite good. Is it truly worth your time? Does it have anything to actually do with Pokémon? And is it playable without knowledge of Japanese? Sonic Forces is a game that a lot of Sonic fans have become skeptical of. From it's return to the Sonic Generations play style to it's setting to, seemingly most damning of all, it's ability to create and play as your own character, most Sonic fans seem to be turning away from this game and focusing on the also upcoming (and also excellent looking) Sonic Mania. However, for many of the same reasons some people are turning away from it, we think that Sonic Forces looks like a lot of fun and will actually be a great game! Let's talk about YouTube demonetization. This widespread issue has been affecting YouTubers big and small, with its impact being harshest on those that use the platform either to make a living or to supplement their income. Not much is known about the bot that flags videos as "not suitable for advertisers", its own algorithm and how it affects the regular YouTube algorithm, or what makes it go off, thus James and Rawman performed an experiment to test it. If a channel that has been demonetized before uploads a video of a blank wall, will that still be flagged as offensive? Thus, on today's video, we go over how we tested the bot, the results of our experiment, questions we have to those in charge at YouTube, and some ways we think the platform could be improved.
