Original xbox stick drift are controller ports faulty?

I have a couple of controllers on xbox that have stick drift and sometimes left stick doesnt work at all, but they work fine on other xboxs. I have 8 xbox and a ton of controllers, was wondering if controller ports have issues?

Although it's not convenient to do so, you can always swap the controller ports from Xbox to Xbox to see if that fixes the issue.
