.. and I noticed Mortal Kombat 3 for the Sega Game Gear. That got me thinking... what systems had a certain game made for every console that came out by a particular company?

For example, Mortal Kombat 3 came out on the:

Master System
Game Gear
Genesis
Saturn
Dreamcast (if you count Mortal Kombat Gold).

Hmm... I don't think you can count MK Gold for MK3 - it's a variation on MK4. That's all I wanted to add ;)

There was NEVER A MK GOLD ON GAMEBOY COLOR, there was mk1, 2, and 3. Thats it, maybe your are confuseing mortal kombat gold that was released ONLY ON dreamcast.

I think he means consoles by a single company - in this example, it appears to be Sega. GB Color wouldn't matter there, since it's Nintendo.

If you count the museums and compilations, the original PacMan has been on tons of consoles (every Nintendo system, I believe, at a minimum)

MK3 came out on the SNES too.

Ah, I misunderstood what the question was on this thread (hence my now foolish looking SNES comment above).

Tetris has come out in some variation on almost every single Nintendo console: Gameboy, NES, SNES, N64, Gamecube... although I am not sure about the GBA.

Doom came out on a lot of consoles....SNES, Saturn, Playstation, GBA, and, of course, the PC. It would have probably appeared on more consoles but back then many consoles weren't good enough to run first-person-shooters. Even the SNES wasn't really, although I guess it was a decent effort.

Most EA Sports cames have come out on loads of consoles.

I dunno what else. I will have to think.
