There was a swap meet held in Mississauga, Ontario (that's in Canada BTW) today, hosted by TokenGamer, that brought together many DP forum members. Things went really well especially considering it was the first one ever.

I know there are more than that but they'll have to identify themselves. It was a great time and the first time I've met many of these members in person. There was probably a total of about 35 people in attendance. I think next time it could easily double. I'm working on captions for the pics but need a little more time.

maybe thats just a new england thing...

trademeets rule, they disprove two gamer sterotypes in one shot-
1. you never find anything good except on ebay
2. gaming is an antisocial thing

Maybe it's an east coast thing! NAVA meetings, NJ Classic and even the annual John Hardie gamers house party feature beer. It really kinda "goes" with video games, doesn't it?

So we still need to know who's who on the pics. I'm itching to update the member photo pages especially now that I've got a few more from CGE to add in!

That must have been a kick ass camera to capture my picture from a couple hundred miles away. :D

I would have came if I had a car of my own. I don't mind the 8 hour drive. :D I might see about coming to the next one, but I was not at this one.

Well, Mr. E-Man, we try not to publicize it much, but everyone who has joined the CCGC has had a small hidden camera installed into their home. When the CGCC T-shirt arrives, there will be a sound feed as well, direct to CCGC headquarters, which is located in our secret underground Deifenbunker. :whip:

You have to remember that the meet occured in Canada.. the place with the government cares more about alcohol and tobacco than guns & terrorism!
Don't believe me, see what they ask you next time when you cross the border..

So no beer.. :(

I'm the little kid ( 14 ) in the black atari shirt ( with black hair ) and I think u can see me in 2 pics ( the back of me ) but that picture of the virtual boy..thats mine :D :D :D
