I went home to my parents house this weekend and went through some of my old stuff. I still can't believe the amount of old video game systems and games that I have given away over the years or sold for peanuts. Oh how I regret it now. Anyway, I found a couple of old C64 games in a box of junk. Just looking for some help with what I have and what they might fetch on ebay.

1.) Ultima IV Quest of the Avatar. I have the complete game with box, all manuals and cloth map. Only thing missing is the metal avatar that came with it. Now, somewhere I remember reading that there may have been different versions of this game released. Is an older version worth more and how could I tell which one I have?

2.) Gauntlet by Mindscape. Disk and cardboard folding holder. Lists 1985 on the disk.

Thanks for any advice. Oh, by the way, I sold my complete C64 when I was in college for $25. It was in perfect condition and had the disk drive, monitor, modem, tons of accessories, and about 40 games. Funny thing is that the guy I sold it to was actually pissed saying that he wasted his money. Oh how I wish I held onto it now.

Ultima IV - $15-20 (more if you had the ankh)
Gauntlet - $5

The fickle world of C64 is just that on eBay... fickle. Stuff goes for random amounts at times. Stuff you think should sell doesn't, and stuff you think is plentiful goes for strange values. Some items though will always sell, and Ultima titles are just such things.
