Legacy of the Wizard for Genesis?

I wonder if Sega had expressed interest in porting Dragon Slayer IV: The Drasle Family (known to us as Legacy of the Wizard) for the Mega Drive (Genesis)?

As Yuzo Koshiro wrote the music for this game, it would be neat if this imaginary port actually had a lot of the same sound effects from Revenge of Shinobi and Streets of Rage!

It would...maaaayyybee...be cool if that happened.(?). Sometimes the NES versions of these games were actually better. I love that game though. I unloaded most of my NES carts but LotW is one that I kept.
