Dunno if this is the right place to post it, but I recently received "The Arkade" in the mail and decided to make my first Youtube review ever!

Yeah, I'm starting to do that now.

I am VERY rusty, as this is all new to me. I am slowly learning programs, so I hope to improve things.

I know it's kinda spammy, but has anyone else received the unit? What do you guys think of it? I think it is ok, though I admit the scratches still makes me wonder.

I expected a multi-game globtop shoved into a cheap NOAC, but I didn't expect them to shove it all into a leftover generic NES pad mold. For some reason I pictured this in my head as more of a joystick affair like older plug & play systems from a few years ago. No doubt this was designed to be manufactured with the tiniest overhead possible so I get the design decisions.

That power cord though.. yeesh. If it honestly requires 2 amps (which would be insane) then you can't just shove it into a spare USB port on your TV. It probably doesn't need but about 1A, but most TV's just have .5A on their USB ports.

Those cheap switching power supplies are a dime a dozen. I could see trying to design the system to work with one as a cost cutter but the end result is crippling. You won't have a power outlet within 2 cable feet of the composite inputs with any TV.

Thanks! :)

Made another video a few days ago, though I'm not sure how to mention them here. Is it ok to create a topic when I post new videos? I remember the admins not liking that, unless I am mistaken or confused.

I really enjoyed the Wisdom Tree unit, just that there were glitches on the top of the screen that many times was distracting. Also, didn't the image seem too dark? I know it's now the official release, so I hope they fix this.

Actually, all of your videos are supposed to be in one thread in the Gaming Videos forum.
