Some good finds this weekend including a duo, only problem no ac, This is the second time Iv found a duo in the wild and both times no ac, now I heard from the guys at turbo zone direct that radio shack carries an ac that works perfect, I picke it up and it didn't work so I assume my first duo is broken , (the ac is a 9v universal with an attatchment to fit into the duo console)

A few days ago I returned the ac and found another duo, this one was boxed and in excellent condition so Im pretty sure it will work, now rather than going back to radio shack I'd like to pick up an official duo ac, these seem damn near impossible to find, Any idea where to get one, also, does anyone know a good place to have duos fixed? (assuming my first duo is broken) thanks

Good luck. Turbo-friendly AC adaptors are scarce.

Duo ACs are nearly impossible to find unfortunately. I sent you a PM though :)

Holy shit, two duos in a couple of weeks? I've never seen one in the wild, ever. The two I've had have both come from net purchases.

I'm gonna go back to radio shack and buy the same AC that didn't work on my other DUO (which I have deemed broken because of this) if the ac doesn't work on the new duo I figure it's not duo friendly :-), well wish me luck, I'm dying to play Lords of Thunder

make sure whatever you do that you actually get the correct polarity for the plug :) that may actually be the correct power supply just the wrong polarity.

Could u tell me the exact polarity so I know what I'm looking for, is it possible they could sell the same part # with a different polarity.. doubt that, but I'm no expert, thanks for all your help
