If I remember correctly this game was reviewed poorly by a few publications when it released. I don't think they understood the RTS concept. Herzog Zwei was certainly my introduction to the genre. I thought it was really unique and definitely ahead of its time though. I'm glad to still own a copy.

Well, certainly EGM reviewed it very poorly, though VG&CE rated pretty decently, as did some of the UK mags.

LOL @ the individual ratings for graphics, playability, etc. how do they determine that a game's graphics are a .83 out of 1, and not a .82?
