Today I found a small load of goodies at variou splaces (all new except Rampage for PSX):

NFL2K2 - DC - 2.50
Sega Bass Fishing (1 all-stars, 1 normal) - 1.50 each (They have about 15 more...)
Game and Watch Gallery 3 - GBC - 4.99
Stars Wars - GBA - 5.99
Hot Shots Golf 2 - PSX - 6.00 each (I bought 2)
Pokemon Puzzle League - N64 - (new) - 7.50
Rampage 2 - PSX - 5.99
Catslevania: HOD - GBA - 29.99

I also found a complete Atari Touch Me for 2.00 at the thirft store. How much is this thing worth?

Edit:

Went back and bought the final 2 copies of Hot Shots Golf 2, another SBF, and WCW Mayhem for GBC for 5.00. Maybe next payday, if there are any left, I'll buy the rest of the SBF... Hopefully by then they put more stuff out on clearance!

Edit 2:

I just traded 3 of the games I got yesterday to an online store and I'm getting the following:

NES (All these to fill up empty boxes I have laying around):

Dirty Harry
Master Chu
Rad Racer 2
Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves
Rocketeer
Star Trek: Next Generation
Treasure Master

SNES:
King Arthur and the knights of Justice (Haven't seen this one for about 4 years now!)

I also went to Wendy's and picked up 2 of the toys, the Mario action figure and the board game. They didn't have the others at the moment...

Where'd you get Sega Bass Fishing at? Surprisingly it's one of the few games my wife likes (via a DC demo), so I wouldn't mind picking it up to help "hook" her (I'm a funny guy) into video games.

I got a Sears Tele-Games Hockey-Jockari pong console for 3.99

and 2 SNES games at .99 each
NBA Basketball
some Power Rangers game.

And just think, it's only friday :)

I know the title is 20-22 sept finds, but on thursday afternoon, my wife and I ducked into Future Shop because traffic was bad, and they were clearing the last of the DC games for 9.99 each, limit 5 (what the heck is up with the limit thing?) anyways, we each took 5 :)

Got some good ones in there too, like Silent Scope. And, as a bonus, one of the games (Deep Fighter) only rang in at 3.99 :)

It's pretty dry around here right now....so I broke down and bought all 5 of the Super Mario toys available at Wendy's. A nice collection to add to my "toy" box of collecting video game related items.

I went out this morning to a thrift store and about 20 yard sales. My quest today was not video games, although I did look. I was on the mission for an outfit for an 80's party. I figured I was bound to find some concert t-shirts or a Member's Only jacket, or the holy grail of them all a pair of parachute pants. I found absolutely nothing. Now if I still don't find anything next weekend, I'm stuck throwing on my Atari shirt. In terms of games the ONLY thing I found was a boxed Odyssey 200 for $5, which I left on the table.

I did OK, but nothing as exciting (for me anyway) as last week's Auto Racing, in the box, for $0.50. (See last weekend's 'finds' thread for details.)

I hit a few Yard Sales this morning, came away with nothing from the first few, but then, on the way home, tried one more, and found my first ever Game Gear. The unit is fairly scratched up, but supposedly works A-Ok. I haven't tested it yet. It isn't the Majesco version, and it included the AC Adapter and a football game (Joe Montana?).
PRICE? $4.00

And, wrapped up with it was some A/V cable with a plug on the console end that looked like the A/V connector plug (console side) from the Dreamcast - sort of a rectangle with 2 adjacent corners rounded, and a bunch of contacts. As it looked like the Dreamcast cables, and was with the Game Gear, I assumed it was some sort of A/V out cable for the Game Gear, and would let me hook the GG up to a TV or something.

Turns out, upon closer inspection the cable had the Red, White, & Yellow RCA plugs at one end, but the other end, with the unusual connector - the connector had the Playstation logo stamped on it. ??!!?????!???? Anybody know what this thing is?

So, Yard Sales -- 1 Used Game Gear, AC Adapter, odd PSX cable, and Joe Montana Football for the GG -- $4

THEN, my wife surprised me and took me to Silicon Motor Speedway for my birthday. - Came in 11th, and 15th (out of 20), in the 2 races I entered. I love that place, I wish it was closer. BUT, it happens to be in this enormous mall. While at the mall, I got:

A 'Topmax' (?) Arcade Stick -- DC : $9.99
Sega Bass Fishing (Used) -- DC : $2.99
Disney Dinosaur (New) -- DC : $6.99
NHL2k (Used) -- DC : $4.99

AND I got the very last 4013 IC (it's been discontinued) at Radio Shack. I need this chip to continue repairs on a dead 4-port 5200 I'm working on. Of course, now I can't get the old chip off the board with my amateur soldering skills.

All in all, a good day. :D

----------------------------

Then, this morning (Sunday) I didn't really get to go hunting, but I did fit 2 garage sales in. One was a bust, but at the other I got:

* A Plastic 2600 cartridge holder. The unit is black see-through plastic, with little levers on the top that eject the cartridge when pressed. At the top-left of the front, there is an Atari logo sticker. It looks like each cartridge slot snapped on individually, and that they were modular that way. Also, it looks like the unit probably had 10 cartridge slots initially. But, there are only 8 complete slots now, with what looks like most of a ninth, but with the end-cap and top-lever missing.

Along with the cartridge holder, I picked up (all loose VCS/2600):
Combat
Space Invaders
Space War
Defender
Asteroids
Warlords
Flag Capture
Slot Racers
Missile Command
Berzerk
Air-Sea Battle
Circus Atari
& Maze Craze

All for the princely sum of $1.

Whee!

I guess I can add more to my finds this weekend. I picked up the following for $7 at a yard sale. The funny thing about the purchase was what the lady said as she sold it to me. She seemed really pissed about the whole deal, but she sold it anyways, as she says to me "you're getting a steal on this, and you know it." I just had to laugh. I don't think it was quite a "steal," compared to what others have found on this board, but I'm happy...

-"Sears" Atari 2600 6 switch console
-Atari 4 switch console
-Cables
-4 joysticks
-2 paddle controllers
-"Official" Atari 8 game holder
-Various manuals and game catalogs
-13 games (no rares though)

Combat
Pacman
Outlaw
Circus Atari
Defender
Firefighter
Cosmic Ark
A bunch others I can't think of right at the moment

I found a copy of Relief Pitcher for SNES for $1 at my local gamestore. (not all SNES sports games are worthless!) I already have a copy, but I figured I could use it as future trade bait.

While there, I bought Shinobi 3 (Genesis) for $6.95 which was probably way too much, but I didn't want to go through eBay to get it. It's a great game if you haven't tried it out.
