i'm getting some trade bait stuff ready for PRGE in October and I was wondering what value you guys would put on a Genesis version of a Miracle Keyboard with AC Adaptor?

I have no idea on it, it works stand alone I don't have the cart to go with it

That's a tough sell. I have one without an overlay that I plan to try to sell locally for $20. I don't think there was any Genesis/Sega branding on the keyboard (correct me if I'm wrong), so I'm not sure you can expect to do much better.

Cornelius has it about right on the price.

Out of the three main components (cartridge, keyboard and midi connector) the midi connector adds the most value.

If it is just the keyboard, then the value is that of a basic keyboard, around $15 to $20.

no there isn't but I noticed the mac one has tons of writing on the plastic insert and of course the Nintendo one has the seal, this one is closer to the Nintendo one butno seal of course

The piano itself is decent and universal for connecting to other consoles and the PC, certainly worth more then twenty bucks.

A few very nice features many may not be aware.

1. Sensitive keys - Press harder for loud sounds just like a real piano.

2. Sustain Pedal - The two prong input plug can easily be adapted to any foot switch.

3. Additional Instrument Sounds - Search and download the scanned paper overlay to discover.

4. Console and PC Software - All easily located on the cheap online. The PC version is DOS, console carts easier to run.

5. The custom cable is a very simple solder job by gutting a controller cable and a 25 Pin Serial Male Connector.

Note that the Midi ports are not used for the console or PC Software Toolworks software versions. However it does have Midi ports increasing the Piano's capabilities with other music software.

NES version, Genesis cable just as easy to build.

I modded a court data recorder foot switch for the sustain pedal, real simple two wire solder connection.

I couldn't find the AC adapter. i'm sure its in a box some where
