In the "Post your import collections" thread I noticed that aside from me, only DDcecil and intvgene list having the game.

If you import Playstation games, GET THIS GAME NOW. While I got it in the mail a couple of weeks ago, I just hooked up my JP-compatible PSone again last night and fired up IS for the first time. Holy Cow! Very cool. Psychedelic. Like a cross between Tempest and Gyruss and two hits of acid. Your shooter remains stationary at the bottom of the screen, while the "tube" rotates. Enemies fly down the tube from behind you (like Gyruss), and then come back at you, sometimes shooting. You've got twelve different weapons at your disposal. And the visuals. OH. MY. GOD. I watched the attract mode for a LONG TIME.

While the docs are mostly in Japanese (as one would expect), the inside cover of the manual says "Welcome to the devil's kaleidescope". Cute. Anyway, I had heard that this was a cool game, but I was blown away far more than I expected to be.

I think I picked this one up from a tip on this board. I got it cheap, and I am happy with it. Unfortunately, I got it right after Rez (which I love), so it didn't compare to that. But, using your own music is really cool. I'd definitely second the nomination. It's great for relaxing and playing a quick game.

Unfortunately, I can't find it anywheres. Anyone offer me some help?

I picked mine up off of teh ebay. Also, I've seen it on the list of available games at markinjapan.com, but unfortunately Mark seems to be taking a vacation for a couple months. Good luck!

I took your advice and moved zig to teh ebay and scored for great justice.

It's already paid for, and already shipped!! Now if it can pull me away from F_Zero GX, that'll be a spectacular feat! LOL

It's good to know that this game is finally getting its due. Ever since I played the demo on the japanese version of Chocobo's Dungeon 2, I knew I had to have it. It's easily one of my top 5 imports ever.

Now that I've spent some time with it, I have to second the opinion of Bargora.

Crazy fun time.

Why oh why does this game sound so freaking familiar?

I can swear I've played something [almost] exaclty like what you are describing but for the love of god I can't remember the title!. And I know it was a US release because I played it all the time when I worked at Funcoland.

Shooter..in a tube....many colors....can use your own music....

But yes, if it is indeed the same game, its friggin badass.

The title in question is N20: Nitrous Oxide.

Featured music by the Chemical Brothers and it carried the warning "Don't trip alone" or something to that effect.

THATS IT!! Same game or no?

Nah, they're different. N20 taps into a "druglike" influence, while I can't really tell where Internal Section comes from. ;)

Similar ideas, similar styles, but different execution.
