Dreamcast VGA cable or box?

Just a simple question, what's better.
For the Dreamcast what's better? The VGA cable that just started showing up recently or the box that's been around a while?

A few people recommended the RetroBit cable to me, so that is what I went with. It works fine. The fitment is a bit tight in the back of the console (it just needs a firm push) but for $15, no complaints.

I got a box because it also gave composite and s-video ports, and back when I got it, s-video was the best way for me to hook up to my TV. Today that's probably not much of a concern.

I got a box as I can hook HDMI through it and upscaled my games to 1080P and they look fantastic.
