SNES SCART cable issues- unwanted blue tint

my screen suddenly became awash with an hideous blue tint while I was playing. I swapped cables with a composite and the color returned to normal.

the cable was tight on both ends. haven't inspected the pins yet

anyone have this happen to them? I think it was a cable I got from an eBay seller in Florida, that's all I remember.

Was it blue or greenish blue? If you have another SNES you might try it to rule out the system causing the problem. Have you tried simply reseating the connectors?

greenish blue. it seems to be working fine now. I'll just swap between composite and RGB

Sounds like one of the colour pins in the Scart connector has come loose...
