I got over $100 in gift cards for my Bday for bestbuy so I was checking out some games. I don't usually buy new games can't see spending $50 when in a few weeks they come down anyway.
So opions please on these.
Minority Report $10
Rocky $20
Backyard Football $15
pac-man world 2 $15
blood omen 2 $15
there was a few other in the $10-$15 range but these caught my eye. Anyone play any of them. any worth pick up beside the fact that there cheap?

ROCKY IS AWSOME!
Although it gets boring after a lil while. And you can beat it in about 2 days. Backyard football is a good buy, unless you would rather get Madden.

As a certified budget gamer, I would suggest purchasing Minority Report, Pac-Man World 2, and Blood Omen 2 for their respective prices. Out of those three, the only one I own is Minority Report (for the PS2), but the fun wears really thin quickly. It's a decent beat-'em-up IMO (nowhere near as fun as Dynamite Cop or Zombie Revenge on Dreamcast), but you can't beat $10 for a GameCube game. I've heard good things about Pac-Man World 2 and Blood Omen 2 from other gamers.
However, Backyard Football is only $10 at Target right now if you really have to have it. I haven't played Rocky yet.
Truthfully, if I were you, I'd spend $50 of the gift cards and get a Game Boy Player (that's the next thing I want for GameCube besides Soul Calibur 2, which comes out on Wednesday).

Pac-Man World 2 is a very cool platformer-fetch quest type of game. I really dig it. For $15, you simply can't go wrong.

Does the Rocky game have the "eye of the tiger" song or the rocky theme song playing when you fight?
Does anybody know?

Eye of the Tiger isn't there but the main Rocky theme plays, but only on the menus.

Absolutely 100% correct. Buy this one immediately, it's awesome. :)
You can also pick up Beach Spikers for $10 new and you should be able to snag some of the Midway Blitz/Hitz titles for about the same price.
Also make sure to pick up Ikaruga. ;)

I know it's not on your list, but you GOTTA pick up Super Monkey Ball 2 if you don't already have it. It's honestly one of the best games I've ever played. It's totally worth the $30 for a new copy just to have the Super Monkey Bowling mini-game alone! (my high game is 248...anyone beat that?)
Pac Man World 2 is real fun too and Rocky is without a doubt the best boxing game I've ever played. If you play the Movie mode, you'll see re-rendered movie clips and even a speech by Rock himself after a few of the fights! I was real pissed that there wasn't one after the Drago fight though "...and if I can change, YOU can change....WE CAN ALL CHANGE!"

I haven't played it myself but a friend of mine says Minority Report is a horrible game. A bad game at a budget price is still a bad game...

I'd also suggest Super Monkey Ball 2 and you should be able to pick up Burnout real cheap. Both games are fun for single and multiplayer. I would imagine that Robotech Battlecry would be bargain priced too. Robotech is good if you're an old school Robotech fan and the two player death match is fun too.
Other games to look for...
Eternal Darkness
Lord Of the Rings
Metroid Prime

Oh crap, how could I forget...
Star Wars Rogue Squadron II: Rogue Leader :-D
But only if you're a Star Wars or space shooter fan

Spoken like a true genius. :D
Eternal Darkness is really good as well, so is Sonic Mega Collection.

I've had a 300. But don't count me, I'm pretty good a bowling games. And I disagree, I think it's Monkey Target or Monkey Billiards that makes it worth the money. Plus the main game is none-to-shabby either. Yes, for $30 you are a damn fool if you don't get it. Awesome game, *****.
BTW, I know it's not at Best Buy but if you can scrounge up $20 you can get Metroid Prime brand new at Blockbuster Video (not used, Brand New). You can also get Mario Sunshine for that much. Both are five-star instant classics.
Eternal Darkness is amazing for $20 or whatever they charge for it. OR, you can get it for $9.99 brand new at Gamestop I think. I have to deduct one star because the enemies are mindless and I didn't care for the graphics one bit. Otherwise, get it. Some games you play, but this game plays you.
Despite what others say, I found Rouge Leader to be pretty weak. Very shallow game, even for a shooter. If it wasn't a Star Wars game it might have been considered one of the most dull games of all time.
Sonic Mega Collection would be ok if there hadn't been FUCKING SLOWDOWN. Skip it.
Robotech is ok. Nothing to fancy, nothing to bad. It's worth having for... oh... $10.
Rocky I found pretty weak. The GCN version has major flaws in it.
Minority Report is fun for about two seconds. You know what it was missing? Other then personality? The scene where Tom Cruise hops from car to car. Good lord, how dumb not to include that scene.
