Hey how we doing everybody? DigitPress Jim here. I am working on a very cool secret project code named "Link" that will be put out under the "Digital Press "name brand.

The reason why I am keeping this project a secret is because I don't want anybody to steal my ideas, not saying that you would or anything :D as Nolan Bushnell would call them (The Jackal's). However I can say that "Project Link" will be in honor of Video Games and Video Game characters. The contest is very simple, all I need is for you to send me as many Video Game character names that you can think of/find. They can be from any era of any time of gaming history.

You can enter as much as you like. The contest will last from now until the end of Sunday, so you only have one week. The person who sends me the most Video Game character names by the end of Sunday will be the winner. One winner will get a copy of "Project Link" before the public, their name featured in "Project Link", and my autograph on "Project Link" (If you want :D ).

Now I know it is still far off until I will be finished with "Project Link", but I will have "Project Link" done in time for Classic Gaming Expo 2K4 and chances are this is where "PL" will make a debut. This is a very awesome project and lets just say you will have this reaction ":o" when you see "PL" all finished.

Please send all your submissions to my e-mail address: thevideogamewiz@aol.com. Also please don't post your submissions on this thread, however if you have any questions at all you can post them here or feel free to e-mail me.

Thanks again everybody, have fun and Game On :D

Quick questions:

1) Do video game characters from a liscense count? For example, Popeye, Tron, Terminator, Ripley, etc.?

2) Do computer and arcade games count?

3) Do imports count?

Thanks!

Hi Kristine,Yes I can use any Video Game Characters name no matter where they are from (Movie,Cartoons,Anime,Etc.)as long as they have been in a Video Game.I would love to do import characters for Project Link, but for right now I am just going to use American Video Game release Characters.

Computer and Arcade Video Game characters are perfect also, and I will for sure use them in Project Link.I hope I was able to answer your questions :D Thanks again.
