Bentley Compu-Vision or a Radio Shack TV Scoreboard?

I just got these and was just checking if anyone else has one. I need to clean one up before I hook it up, but they look pretty cool. Anyone have any idea of there value? I'm sure it's not too much but I'd like to have an idea. They are pong like systems with several games (if you didn't know).

Here are some great lines from the Bentley manual:

A self-contained system requiring no additional cartridges or expense

Three action-packed electronic sounds to enhance game excitement

Handsome, furniture-styled game console designed to fit tastefully into any room

Wow, that ends my decorating nightmare, at least it won't clash!

Two detachable master controls to enhance player comfort, convenience, and performance

The cords seem very short. I don't know where comfort comes in. I guess instead of being right next to each other, that extra foot helps!

Clear directions for easy hookup within minutes to any color or black & white TV – without professional help

Thank God it'll work with my B & W TV!

Now if I could just find the gun that goes with the Radio Shack unit!

I may have the Radio Shack thing in a bin someplace... could you post a pic or some detail? If I have it I haven't looked at it in about 6 years.

Just from my personal experience I'd say they were not worth much. Both are pretty common Pong systems. In fact, the Radio Shack one is probably the most common Pong I've ever seen.

Carnage hit it on the mark - they're both basically (monetarily) worthless, probably be a stretch to get $5 for each of them. But the FUN value is much higher, it's always neat to have some of those old dedicated Pong consoles around. :)

Awesome. :-D

That's about what I paid for them.

I know... can you imagine, 3 sounds!!

I'll take a picture and post the link in the morning.

The Bently Compuvisions show more frequently than most and are easier to find boxed, many times unused. Apparently they were given out as incentives if you went to condominium or time-share "sellers" presentations so they went home with people who had no interest in them and years later they clean their garage or attics and sell or donate them.

I have both of them..I bought the Bentley from videogameconnections..A day I was there at a nava meeting..Joe was there too.
I paid $10.00 for it boxed/unused..

I collect pong systems so it was a nice addition to my collection.

I've got one of those Radio Shack Electronic TV Scoreboards too. And...um...that's all I have to contribute to this thread. :)

I've got a Bentley Compu-vision.

It baffles me why it was ever created! It's a blindingly standard pong system manufactured in 1983! The Japanese were playing on their Famicoms in 1983!!!
