Hello, people.

A few years ago I had all my classic consoles modded for RGB and the necessary cables... I had to sell my entire collection and now I settle for less. I have a TG-16 but no Turbo Booster or RGB Mod. I thought about purchasing a Turbo Booster but the prices are still high. Browsing eBay I found the Hyperkin AV Adapter por the TG-16 for just USD19.99, have you tried one?

The price is quite good even if it is really ugly, I just want to know if the video or audio has no problems, I know that the connections are quite simple and shouldn't be easy to fuck this up, but you never know ;)

Thank you for your advice and opinions.

Sorry i have not tried this product. Im not impressed with Hyperkins quality after having bought the SupaBoy, the Retron5, and the RetronHD. Although the RetronHD was actually somewhat decent.

I'm sure it's fine, but it's composite so you're never going to get anything great.

This is an alternative, but it's expensive and still requires some type of RGB interface.

Thanks, guys. I'm gonna buy it. The price is really low and right now I don't need too much, I usually play on CRT monitors and composite is good enough.

To be fair, the PC Engine/TG-16 composite signal is exceptionally clean, but I wonder if this Hyperkin device does any conditioning at all like the original Turbo Booster did. ( I am guessing no, it isn't. )
