View Full Version : SEGA Saturn - 25th Anniversary! (2019)
SEGA sure is going nostalgia-crazy lately. And why not? It's a lucrative business! And with this being 2019, it has been 25 years since the SEGA Saturn launched in Japan in 1994. Ergo, SEGA has created a ton of SEGA Saturn-themed merchandise for its SEGA Fes(tival) 2019! But don't worry - with 150 different items that will be on sale at the SEGA-run convention, there is plenty of merchandise for fans of the Mega Drive, Dreamcast, and modern SEGA games too!
Here is a visual compendium of what will be on sale from March 30 - 31 at SEGA Fes (http://segafes.sega.jp/goods/).

Amazing to me is the fact that it released over a year earlier than in the US

The Saturn was a good system. I really should play it again as it's been years since I've hooked mine up. I don't currently have many games for it though, just a handful.

One of sega most underrated consoles for the 90's.To bad it has become collectible which has double it's value for it's secondhand market for it's games.Glad i bought what i wanted long ago and kept it without selling.

And it feels like it was just yesterday that the Mega Drive turned 25...
The SS was the greatest performer in its home country. After importing an SS and putting together a small library for it, I can easily see why. It's one of the few platforms I would love to expand greatly upon the library I own for it. 2D gaming on the SS is phenomenal to say the least!
