Star Quest (Genesis)

Star Quest was a planned North American version of Star Cruiser. The game never saw the light of day here but there are screenshots with English text in a copy of Game Informer from May '94, leading me to believe there is a prototype copy floating around somewhere.

Does anyone know if anyone had planned on bringing this back as an official release. I am guessing Namco holds the rights to the game.

Publisher for the game are split up between companies for star curiser,arsys software,namco,masaya,D4 enterprise.As for a official ever happening dunno not unless the likes of super fighter team,or retrobit do it.Still if you want to play it in english the game does have a fan translation.
