Hi All, I'm a big retrogamer and collector, I also work in a tech development company, we had a fully functional R.O.B. that was just gathering dust and we wanted to find a fun way to bring it back without breaking it, so we built an "add on" for it, we made a video to show how we did it, check it out and let me know what you guys think, thanks.

Yeah, we just couldn't resist once we figured out how to do it, we're building a few for anyone with a working R.O.B. interested in trying it out. For our next move we're actually testing different sensors to pick up the screen flashes of HDTVs, that way we could truly play its games on any modern TV

Cool. I like seeing projects like this and makes me wish I still had time for such things. I'm curious why you made a custom board instead of one of the small Arduino boards. Especially since you say you worked with Adafruit. That way anyone could make one.
Or even an Android app instead of/(as well as) iOS. Then people could load the apk without it having to be on an app store.
