What is This PlayStation 1, Run-and-Gun Contra-like 2D Shmup?

It looks awesome, and I want to play it but I have never seen it before... and the video makes no mention of its name nor is the name included in the video's description! All I can tell from the video is that the main character appears to be named "A.Sonics." Please help identify this run-and-gun, Contra-like shmup for PlayStation 1. Thank you!

Wow, I've never seen nor heard of that game before and I figured that I've heard about pretty much every game in existence! That looks fun! I think I am going to check it out. EDIT: OK I looked it up.

So it was introduced in Japan in 2007 and it was called Rapid Reload
In 2010 it was introduced in Europe as Gunners Heaven.

There never was a US release so that's why I have not heard about it.

That seems like a super late release for a Playstation 1 game!
I think I am going to try it out on my much loved Playstation Classic.

2007 and 2010 are the Japanese and Asian digital PSN re-releases. In terms of the original PS1 release, it came out in both Japan and Europe in 1995. You also have the titles backwards. It was Gunners Heaven in Japan and Rapid Reload in Europe.
