I picked up the gamecube version and thought I had remembered playing rocky before. So I checked my SMS collection and there it was. So now im playing both.

The Sega Master system game was fun in the training sessions, but the matches weren't and they just got too damn hard.... I dont think I ever made it to Ivan Drago...

My review of the PS2 version, nearly identical to the 'Cube version. The game is outstanding on the big 3 consoles. Anyone try the GBA version?

Hmmm... I have it for both the Colecovision, and Master System.
I DON'T have the Super action controllers for the Coleco to play the game, but I once beat Clubber with a standard coleco stick.
And the Master System game's got AWESOME graphics!, but the gameplay's not much fun, and it's possible to beat the game by using a rapid fire stick, holding left and both buttons.

And for the modern one, NO ONE told me MR. T was gonna be at E3 last year, so I missed meeting him!! therefore the new game sucks!

The winner by way of not needing special controllers: the Sega Master System version.

I'll have to agree with the SMS version's being the best. Any Rocky is good Rocky, though. (Except the 5th film, stinky!) The Colecovision Rocky is the only CV game I kept when unloading them. Good stuff.

Sorry I left the CV version out. I have not yet started collecting that system, and never owned it as a kid. Although one of my friends just moved so while visiting him I checked out a thrift store around the cornor and they had 4 CV games mixed in with there cassette tapes for $0.50 each. I did not pick them up but was very tempted to. I thin kI will look for a CV first then go back and get them.
How much are complete (controllers, power,tv hook,) CV going for this day anyway?
