What are they??? you can import NES games (Right?) But other than that, is it just going to be clothes designs? Town themes? Anything else?

The cards aren't out yet...the 1 sample card that you get with the e-Reader gives you a K.K. Ska tape.
Looks like it'll be town tunes, clothing patterns, and random presents.

I just don't see paying $5 for that. Not unless theres a WHOLE LOTTA STUFF on one $5 card.... How is this any different than people selling codes on ebay other than the fact you can't get some of them (Which you could probly do just as easily with a gameshakr, not that I own EITHER of those things...)

I think they are going to come in packs and retail for $3.29. The odd price (exact retail for Pokemon, etc) makes me wonder if Nintendo is in the cards alone or if Wizards isn't getting into it. Maybe I'm totally crazy for thinking that though :D Besides being a collectable thing (I plan on "catching them all!") you can lend them to your friends to scan in to their games if you want. They're also going to be cute with pictures and info about the characters/town

wulf, look at it this way- to those who don't know how it works (i.e. 90% of the target audience), the e-reader cards are MAGIC. swipe it a couple of times and get stuff that takes a while to do in the game and/or items you can't get elsewhere! they'll sell out like hotcakes- screw paying for an ebay auction, lol! although i wonder if nintendo is gonna do anything to discourage this...

It's just so cool. I mean putting collectable cards into a game. I think it is great and I am going to waste a lot of money. I have not felt this way since I started collecting games. It is just cool.
