I have the two JAPANESE releases of Dragon Ball Z, the Dragon Boxes, each one containing half the series plus a figure, and a book, in their original packaging. One of the boxes has damage on the inner cardboard (but not on any of the distinct elements like the disc casing or the toys) but everything else is fine.

I really don't want to put these on ebay as I have trust issues with that site, but I no longer want these boxes, they're just taking up space in my house for no good reason. But they're collector's items so I don't want them lowballed either.

If there's interest, I'll provide pictures. I get busy IRL often so forgive me if I'm slow responding.

If anyone can suggest another place I might could offload these, let me know.

If you don't put a price on it, you can't also have the expectation of no low balls. I dont know what a complete set typically goes for. Personally I think it's worth $300. But that could be hundreds less than what youre wanting.

$300 per box is about what they're worth these days, and honestly I'm fine with that, as I didn't buy these as an investment but because I used to honestly love the franchise.

But yeah, I would accept $300 per box, shipped.

I personally wouldnt pay more than $300 for the entire set. I know there were roughly 300 episodes, so a dollar per ep

Well, fortunately, you're not the guy I'm selling these to.

These aren't just DVD sets, they come in hefty boxes, include a figure (Goku in the first set, Piccolo in the next, with articulation and accessories), the DVDs are in hefty cases, there's a booklet, and the boxes themselves are pretty bulky. Letting them both go for $300 altogether... yeah, no, half of my profit would probably be eaten by the shipping cost. These aren't the small American sets.

Japanese sets are always cooler than North American ones, but they never have English options so they're useless to anyone who doesn't know Japanese. You'll have to find a Japanese speaker with a suitable region player who'll want this, most likely someone actually in Japan. I doubt anyone outside of ebay will buy it unfortunately.
